Chronicles of Narnia Franchise to be Rebooted with The Silver Chair

According to Collider, producer Mark Gordon has confirmed that a Chronicles of Narnia reboot (or sorts) is in the works.  The next film will be based on C.S. Lewis’ fourth book in the series, The Silver Chair.  Despite taking place decades after the events of the earlier movies, Gordon states that it won’t be a sequel to those films and won’t include any of the cast members from those movies.  Here’s what Gordon had to say in an interview with Collider at the TCA winter press tour. Amber Heard in Talks to Join Aquaman

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Amber Heard (3 Days to Kill, The Danish Girl) is in negotiations to play Mera opposite Jason Momoa’s Aquaman in the stand alone Aquaman film.  Aquaman will be directed by James Wan (Furious 7) with screenplays being written by David Leslie Johnson (The Conjuring 2) and Kurt Johnstad (300).  Here’s what THR had to say about the potential signing: Continue reading Amber Heard in Talks to Join Aquaman

Batman v Superman’s Other Villain Revealed

When the latest trailer for Batman v Superman came out a few months ago, fans were surprised that they revealed that Doomsday was going to be in it.  Sure, everyone knew that Batman and Superman would eventually put their differences aside and team up to fight against a greater evil power that required their joint efforts, but it made more sense that the marketing would focus instead on the conflict between the two comic book titans.  By showing Doomsday and showing the heroes fighting side by side it took away from the hype of the big fight and also seemingly gave away the last act of the film.  Well, it turns out that might not be the case and that there may be another big bad that will make an appearance in BvS.  Potential spoilers below, proceed at your own risk. Nominations Announced for 36th Annual Razzie Awards

The nominations for the Oscars will be announced tomorrow morning, but before that The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has revealed their list of nominees for the 36th Annual Razzie Awards.  While the Oscars is a prestigious award handed out to the best talent in front of and behind the camera for the big screen each year, the Razzies celebrate the worst in film each year.  Typically the nominees include A-list talent or well-respected stars who put out a stinker.  Below is the official description of what the Razzies are from their site as well as the full list of this year’s nominees.
