Trailer and Photos for Murder On The Orient Express

20th Century Fox released the first trailer for Murder on the Orient Express, a remake of the 1974 film based on the acclaimed Agatha Christie novel, set to arrive in theaters November 10, 2017.

The original film received 6 Oscar nominations including a win for supporting actress and a nomination for best actor.  This interpretation could certainly be in line for similar consideration with the impressive cast they assembled.  Kenneth Branagh will direct.  Branagh, a five-time Academy Award nominee, will also star in the movie as detective Hercule Poirot and will be joined by Academy Award winner Penelope Cruz playing Pilar Estravados, Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe as Gerhard Hardman, Academy Award winner Judi Dench portraying Princess Dragomiroff, Academy Award nominee Johnny Depp playing Ratchett, Josh Gad as Hector MacQueen, Derek Jacobi as Edward Masterman, “Hamilton” star Leslie Odom Jr. playing Dr. Arbuthnot, Academy Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer portraying Mrs. Hubbard, and Daisy Ridley as Mary Debenham.

“Agatha Christie’s novel, published in 1934, is considered one of the most ingenious stories ever devised. It revolves around a murder onboard the famous train, and Belgian detective Hercule Poirot must solve the case – but there are a number of passengers who could potentially be the murderer.”
