Pedro Pascal Joins Wonder Woman 2

Pedro Pascal has reportedly signed on for a pivotal role in Wonder Woman 2.

According to a report from Variety, the Narcos and Game of Thrones star will be playing an unknown, but pivotal role in the sequel to 2017’s huge hit movie Wonder Woman.  Pascal joins a cast that already includes Gal Gadot returning as the titular star along with the previously announced casting of Kristen Wiig as Cheetah.  There have also been rumors that Chris Pine, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Ewen Bremner will return for the sequel, which will once again be written, directed and produced by Patty Jenkins, and co-written by Dave Callaham (The Expendables, Godzilla).  Here’s the report from Variety.

“Director Patty Jenkins is bringing on Pedro Pascal for a key role in her “Wonder Woman” sequel starring Gal Gadot.  The film would mark the second time Pascal and Jenkins have worked together, having previously teamed up on the TV movie “Exposed.”

Following the news that the studio has slated the movie for Nov. 1, 2019, finding this pivotal role became a top priority.  Plot details are still being kept under wraps, as is the character Pascal will be playing.”
