Trailer for Sherlock Christmas Special and Some News About Season Four

BBC’s Sherlock has been a fan favorite since it debuted in 2010 despite long breaks between seasons and only 3 episodes a season.  Showrunners Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat’s version of Sherlock Holmes has been updated to the modern day and has seen Benedict Cumberbatch’s Holmes and Martin Freeman’s Watson traverse some of  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous tales with fresh takes on them.  However, as a little twist for the series, the show will go back to its Victorian roots for a one-off, non-canon, Christmas special to air during the holiday season.  Here’s what Steven Moffatt shared with Express: Continue reading Trailer for Sherlock Christmas Special and Some News About Season Four

A while back it was made known that in addition to getting season 4 of the hit BBC series Sherlock, fans would also be treated to a separate Christmas episode that would be taking place during the Victorian time period that the books occur in.  For a fanbase that is used to waiting (2 years in between seasons that only last 3 episodes to begin with) it was a welcome addition even if it wasn’t part of the show’s continuity.  You can read more about the Christmas special and what to expect from season 4 here and here.
