Mendes Dissects Spectre “Continuous Shot” and Broccoli Talks of Bond’s Future

Here’s some Bond tidbits for you.  Overall I was disappointed with Spectre.  It wasn’t a bad movie by any stretch, but it was a letdown after Skyfall and there were choices made throughout that bugged me.  That said, I’m still a huge fan of all things Bond and found the following comments from producer Barbara Broccoli discussing the franchise’s future and from director Sam Mendes addressing the epic “continuous shot” throughout the Day of the Dead celebration to start the film. Spectre Director Talks About Christoph Waltz’s Role

Ever since the title of the next installment of the James Bond franchise was announced, fans have been speculating that Christoph Waltz’s character would be Bond’s arch-nemesis and leader of the Spectre organization Blofeld.  Official releases for the film have called his character Oberhauser, but that hasn’t stopped fans from insisting that it’s studio misdirection from who he really is.  When asked straight up whether he was actually Blofeld, Waltz responded by saying “It’s more complicated than that.”   Continue reading Spectre Director Talks About Christoph Waltz’s Role
