Star Wars: Rogue One Official Plot Details

The other day I posted a few items that were confirmed at the Star Wars Celebration including character descriptions and a new trailer for The Force Awakens.  Yesterday the focus shifted to the other Star Wars film in the works called Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One.  The first thing that we learned from the panel yesterday is that the stand alone films are going to be know as anthologies.  Josh Trank was not present at the panel, supposedly he was sick and could not attend, so we didn’t learn anything about the “anthology” that he is going to direct.  There is still no plot details, cast announced or even a title for that film.  Luckily a lot was spilled about Rouge One. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Possible Villain Details

For the past week I have been seeing a few potentially spoiler filled posts popping up on Making Star Wars that have been outlining everything from the opening sequence, the second trailer, to major details about the characters.  I don’t know how much is true, and Abrams has gone on the record saying that some of the information out there is not true, but it’s interesting none the less.  For those that can’t wait until the movie comes out in December, or even for those that can’t wait until the trailer debuts attached to the Avengers: Age of Ultron in only a few short weeks, then read on below for some Star Wars goodies.  Beware, there could be potential spoilers ahead. Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer and Opening Sequence Spoilers

Potential spoilers galore, proceed at your own risk.  To date the only thing that has been shown with regards to the highly anticipated Star Wars The Force Awakens film was the brief teaser trailer a couple months back.  That trailer provided no plot details and only showed some of the key characters who are believed to play a part in the new trilogy.  The returning Luke, Leia and Han Solo did not even show up in that teaser.  Well, if El Mayimbe over at Latino Review is correct (and he always seems to be.  Seriously, I would love to get the breaking news he obtains), then we may know what the next trailer looks like and it not only shows the classic characters but also gives more hints at what to expect in the movie to be released in December.  Here’s what he has to say: Continue reading Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer and Opening Sequence Spoilers
