D23: What We Learned About Marvel’s Infinity War

One of the most anticipated movies in geekdom is Marvel’s Infinity War.  For those who are unaware, Infinity War is the culmination of all the Marvel movies so far much the same way that the first Avengers movie was an exclamation point at the end of Phase 1 tying all the movies to that point together.  This movie will feature every hero (both earthbound and the Guardians of the Galaxy) banding together to take on the biggest threat yet, Thanos.  To date this is all we knew about the movie, but following D23, the Disney expo, we now have a few movie details about the film.  Check it out below. Avengers Infinity War: Russo’s Discuss Scope and Writer’s Talk About Thanos

With the release of Captain America: Civil War less than one month away, all the attention has been focused on Marvel’s latest surefire hit.  However, Civil War pales in comparison to the scale of their next big event movie, the 2-part Infinity Wars.  To date not much is known about the movies besides being directed by the Russo Brothers (Winter Soldier, Civil War), Thanos as the big bad and the expectation that nearly every character introduced thus far will feature into the mayhem.   The writers and directors have now opened up and provided a little insight about what we can expect in the two big films.
