Final Tomorrowland Trailer Hits Online

The final trailer for Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland was just released today.  “Robertson plays Casey Newton, a science-loving teenager who learns of the existence of Tomorrowland – a fantastical yet enigmatic world that exists somewhere in time and space – via the Tomorrowland pin (seen throughout the film’s trailers to date). This leads her to seek out Frank, a reclusive inventor who, once upon a time, visited Tomorrowland… and gets pulled into a mission to save the place and its “vision of the future”, with Casey.”

Jurassic World Trailer Shows More Dino Craziness

Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies and still holds up incredibly well after 22 years for a special effects heavy film.  I watched both of the previous sequels and neither of them had the same awe-inspiring moments or the heart of the first film.  There are plenty of monster movies that bring large creatures to life, but I can’t think of another that captivated the audience in quite the same fashion and made me believe I was watching dinosaurs walking among humans.  Just last year I showed the movie to my much younger brother-in-law and sister-in-law.  These are two individuals who have grown up with CGI everything in movies and have been spoiled with special effects so refined it’s hard to tell the difference between what’s real and what isn’t on the screen.  That first reveal of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, when they see the brontosauruses feeding in the open field, left them both saying “wow” with their mouths open.  So i have a lot of love and respect for the franchise. 2nd Fantastic Four Trailer Hits the Net

I’ll be the first to admit that I wrote off the Fantastic Four movie before even seeing any footage.  I had zeros excitement after the previous two films made by 20th Century Fox, it seemed like Fox was only making the movie because they were about to lose the rights, the casting appeared all wrong for the principle players in the film, and all reports coming from the movie (the gritty tone, how it looked more like Chronicle 2 than Fantastic Four, and Dr. Doom being reinterpreted as a computer hacker named Domashev) didn’t sound promising.  The first trailer did nothing to sway my opinion.   Continue reading 2nd Fantastic Four Trailer Hits the Net

Batman vs Superman Trailer

Here’s an unexpected surprise today.  Earlier today there was a leak of the Batman vs. Superman trailer, which was supposed to be first shown attached to the Avengers: Age of Ultron film in two weeks.  Warner Bros. has been rushing around to do damage control by removing it from all sites online.  Eventually they must have decided to just go with the flow because Zack Snyder posted the full thing.  Here it is.
